BRING YOUR HORSES & DOGS!

We are in a great spot here at Netherton for bringing dogs and horses, with plenty of walks and rides from the doorstep.  

We have Carsington Water on one side of us and Tissington on the other surrounded by footpaths, bridle paths and quiet country lanes, perfect for walking or hacking.

Carsington Water is an 8 mile off road ride around the water a must for all our guests and on the other side of us Tissington is fabulous with a tea room you can stop off on your way to the trail or just enjoy the village.

DOG FRIENDLY COTTAGES

Dogs or other furry friends are very welcome to come and stay in Winn, Haven and Dumble cottages to a maximum of 2 dogs per cottage please contact us if you have other pets you would like to bring.

We keep Woodshed Cottage pet free for anyone with allergies.

Please Note:

  • Your dogs must be well behaved, I’m afraid they are not allowed on the furniture or in the bedrooms at any time and definitely not on the beds!

  • Dogs must be on a lead at all times in the court yard and shared areas as we have our own dogs and cats here and for our other guests.

  • Dogs cannot be left in the cottages if you are off the site.

  • We make a charge of £20 per dog for the dogs who stays with us to cover the extra cleaning 

  • There are also food and water bowls in the cottages to save you packing them!

 

Dogs cannot be left in the cottage on their own if you go out, but we can do pet sitting or walking if you are planning on going out for the day please email or ask when you arrive about this.

The cottages each have an enclosed garden and there is a field behind the cottages for you to take them for a run and many good walks to go on.
 

HORSES WELCOME TOO!

Guests in all all our cottages are welcome to bring horses, we love to have them stay!

 

This would normally be on DIY livery charged at £20 per night to include stable, hay or haylage and straw and turnout in individual electric fenced paddocks, as long as the weather is ok.  We can do full livery if you would like it at a charge of £30 but please check our availability for this. 

 

We have brilliant facilities for horses, indoor and outdoor menages, small cross country course and fantastic rides around the area.  We have maps and routes in the cottages to help you find your way around.

We have mucking out equipment here, automatic waterers or buckets but you will need to bring feed and buckets and haynets.

​

Please contact us to check stabling availability and check any special requirements as these cannot be booked through our online booking system.
