TERMS AND CONDITIONS
MAKING A BOOKING
First of all check availability and rates, you can do this online by clicking the link at the bottom of the cottage page you are interested in. Or you can telephone us or send an enquiry through the “contact us” section with your dates and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
If a date you are interested in is provisionally booked please contact us as it may become available.

If you would like to bring horses, dogs or have any special requirements please telephone or email to make sure we can accommodate you: we always try to!
You can secure your booking straight away by completing the booking form on-line and making a deposit payment via paypal. A deposit payment of 25 % (the booking system will work this out automatically) is needed to secure your booking.
Or complete the booking form online, in which case we will make a provisional booking which we will hold for you for 1 week until we receive your payment via cheque. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Netherton Hall Farm’.
Confirming your booking: once we have recieved your booking we will confirm it immediately via email, please check the details of your stay thoroughly.
Full Payment for booking: the remaining payment for your booking is due 6 weeks prior to the date of your arrival, either via paypal or cheque. Once we have recieved this we will send you confirmation and any arrival details you will need to know.
Late bookings which begin within 6 weeks of the start day of your holiday should be paid in full along with your booking form.
ABOUT YOUR STAY
Arrival time is from 3 pm onwards on the first day and your departure time is no later than 10 am on the final day of your stay for both you and any animals you have.
You must not have more than the stated number of people allowed staying in the cottage you book. All our cottages are No Smoking and please do not use candles in the cottages.
Please look after and respect our cottages and please let us know if there are any damages. We do not normally charge for minor breakages however the owners reserve the right to charge for any non trivial damage howsoever caused. Please leave your cottage clean and tidy although a full clean is included in the cost of your cottage stay. We will inspect the cottage prior to your departure on the final day of your stay.
If you have any problems, special requirements or needs please let us know and we will do all we can to accomodate you.
In the very unlikely event that we were concerned as to how you are mistreating our cottages we reserve the right to refuse entry or ask you to leave immediately without refund.
We accept up to 2 dogs so long as they are well behaved and stay in the kitchen or designated area as shown in your cottage information pack. Dogs are charged at £20 per dog to cover the extra cost of cleaning the cottages when dogs stay.
We also take horses (please contact us to check availability of stabling) at a charge of £20 per night on a DIY basis or £30 per night Full Livery basis. Your horses must be fully insured including public liability insurance for any damage they may cause, they must have a passport and we advise that you have them Flu and Tetanus vaccinated.
Stabling and storage of your animals, tack, equipment and vehicles is entirely at your own risk and they remain your responsibility at all times. Any damages to our premises or property will be chargeable. Netherton Hall and its owners accept no responsibility for any damage caused to or by your animals to anyone or anything either on or off Netherton Hall and its owners’ property.
The owners shall not be liable for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles, possessions or animals and vehicles shall be parked at your own risk. The owners shall not be responsible for any loss, damage or injury that is the result of adverse weather conditions, riot, war or other matters beyond the owners’ control.
CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
Please advise us of any cancellation in writing. Deposit payments are not normally refundable. We would do our very best to re-let a cancelled date but if this is not possible you will be liable for the balance of the payment for your holiday so please take out holiday cancellation insurance.
If the final payment is not recieved by the due date the owners reserve the right to give notice of cancellation of the booking. We also recommend that you take out cancellation protection insurance. We will not provide a refund if for any reason you do not complete the duration of your stay.
NON AVAILABILITY OF ACCOMODATION
In the very unlikely event that for reasons out of our control your accomodation becomes unavailable we would attempt to offer you alternative accomodation or if this is not possible or acceptable we would offer you a full refund. Our liability would not exceed beyond this refund.
